 The Devious Angels, produced by RJ Stillwell and Chad Jeffers, embodies seven standout tracks that the listener can relate to. The beautiful “Fly” kicks things off with spot-on harmonies and alternating vocals between Decious and Steeves, a pairing that could remind listeners of popular country duo Thompson Square. The song is beautifully sung and has a beat that is very grasping and really makes the listener think “hey I love this song”.
“Somebody’s Somebody” is the next track, a track that is a edgier song that includes a nice mixture of electric guitar, fiddle, and soulful piano. Steeves’s vocals are really showcased in this song, straight from the start.  The Devious Angels, a country music duo, are composed of singer/songwriters Steevie Steeves and Jon Decious. The two talents met at a writer’s seminar in Wyoming and soon became writing partners. You might call it an odd pairing, Steevie is a self-proclaimed musical theater geek and Jon is a former bassist of the infamous pop-punk band The Pink Spiders, but once you hear these two together, you’ll realize it’s a match made in heaven.
Both Jon and Steevie grew up in small towns where hard work and boredom, thrived more than front porch jam sessions. Steevie comes from a large Italian family in Pennsylvania farm country where she learned to entertain for her supper, while Jon hails from south-central Kentucky.
